Auction held at the Gengelbach farm located 3 miles west of Plattsburg, Mo., on Route 116 then 3 ½ miles north on Route K. Address is 4461 Route K, Plattsburg, Mo.

104 outstanding black cows & heifers – 6 black bulls

50 outstanding bred cows: 5 & 6 years old large black, black white face cows AI or bred to Angus bulls, start calving March 11 for 45 day period

16 black first calf fall heifers with calves at side AI then pasture exposed to Angus bulls for 60 days. Heifers will start calving Sept. 23, 2013. Heifers will be ultra sounded for accurate calving date and fetal sexed if possible prior to sale date. All calves are vaccinated - Boveshield Gold Ultrabac 7 Somubac & castrated.

16 black, black white face first calf heifers to start calving March 19 - ultrasound information available on these heifers. Calving period 40 days - heifer average weight approx. 1150 pounds

6 outstanding black bulls, (not registered), 19 months. All semen & trick tested - BVD/AM/NH free

Cattle will be sold in small uniform groups to suit the buyer!!!!

Health papers & pregnancy tested by Animal Clinic of Plattsburg, Mo. Cows & heifers were wormed with Eperinex and Calf Scour vaccinated with Guardian in the fall and were vaccinated with Preguard9 prior to breeding season.
